Getting Started
First thing to do is come to a hash. eATMe hashes every Saturday at a time and place appointed by the hares. You can find when and where the next eATMe hash is by looking at the calendar page or by searching Facebook for the eATMe Hash House Harriers.

Can I get to know the group before trail
Yes. Every Friday before a trail is laid the hashers meet at a local establishment for drinks (and sometimes food). This event, called prelube is posted (place and time) on the hash calendar.

What should you expect
The first two things you should expect from your first hash are that you will run/walk some distance (less than 12 miles) and you will drink alcohol (21+ only please). That being said you should probably bring clothes you don't mind getting dirty, tall socks, beer/alcohol to drink, a cup ("vessel") to drink from and an open mind.

Does it cost anything
Most other hashes ask their members and visitors to bring $5 "hash cash" and the hares will supply the beer. At the eATMe hash we don't require "hash cash" we simply ask that you bring some of your own alcohol.

What will I see on trail
The best way to find out is to come to a trail. On trail you will find various marks made using flour (or toilet paper) directing you which way to go (or not go), as well as marks leading you to beer stops and finally the end of trail marked with "on in".

What happens after trail
After trail we invite you to stay for circle. In circle accusations are made and songs are sung (see hash hymnal page) forcing members of the hash to drink. As a warning many of the songs are vulgar in nature. You may be offended by songs sung in circle, just know that none of the songs are serious and it is all in fun.
